Troop 58 is very active !
We have about 6 - 10 camping trips per year plus we do many day trips such as whitewater rafting.
We usually have summer camp at Camp Horseshoe in Rising Sun, MD.
We are very involved in the Phoenixville Community. We do many service projects around town and we also help with The Firebird Festival every December.
We have between 15 - 25 very active Scouts from grades 6 - 12.
Troop 58 has had 9 Scouts attain the rank of Eagle in the last 4 years.
We have a great group of registered leaders which include 6 Eagle Scouts and a very active Troop Committee that meets about 10 times a year.
Troop 58 is proudly chartered and sponsored by The Veterans of VFW Post 1564.

Scouting is a tremendous way to learn important life skills and values that will remain with the youth forever. Scouts get to experience a wide variety of activities that involve sports, academics, outdoors activities, hobbies, camp, community service and much more. It also provides a great way to build new friendships and to learn from other adults outside of the classroom environment. Troop 58 is Fun, Friendly and Flexible. Come visit us at our weekly Troop meeting or come on out to a special event.
